Warhammer My Story Part 15 For Justice and for Warhammer!
Good Morning! Afternoon or Evening and welcome to my blog! I am DLLorenzo, Artist, Blogger, Foodie, Gamer, Writer and all out Geek and welcome to my blog!!!
So its November its getting colder and all of us are wanting to stay inside!! Unfortunately this geek went and did something he didnt think he'd do...He's only gone and said he'd sign up for a Half Marathon in Cardiff 2018!!
2018 is about enjoying life and getting fitter it is also a very busy year for me!! Im trying to help my girlfriend train and keep setting myself targets but what can I say Im lazy when at home but Im trying to go walking more and running more - Actually going to start a 30 day challenge this month!! God help me!!
So on to the Warhammer Stuff!!!!
Games Workshop have revealed more armies for the shadespire game, so now instead of Chaos and Stormcast you can now have Orcs...sorry Orruks and Skeletons...Sepulchural Guard!! The models look amazing and would not look out of place when in an army....maybe as captains or generals etc!! If they release some Seraphon ones I may have to reconsider and try Shadespire.....or just buy the models and add them to my army!!
GW have also just dropped the new Tyranid Codex and a new Start collecting box! New box and book you can preorder now from GW or other gaming stores but will be sent out 11/11/2017 in the box you will get:

Rumours still are building that we will see more Primarchs return to the tabletop warfare of Warhammer 40K and possibly more Daemon Primarchs sooon!! Lion El Johnson, famed primarch of the Dark Angels is rumoured to be the next big reveal!!
WARHAMMER BUTT PLUG!! Warhammer just released a special tool to hold your models for easier painting for £5 but it suspiciously looks like a buttplug!! Hence crested on one of our DnD chats!!
£5 aint bad for something that will help with painting models! Im tempted to pick one up when I start back painting later this month!! £4.50 from Gamers Emporium think I will pick one up if I play AOS or 40k at Gamers this month.
Recently watched a 6000pts Tyranid battle against Imperial guard and Space Marines - awesome game, huge battlefield and lots of props and models!!! With me getting Space Marines next year we want to do a battle similar to this later next year with multiple people controlling different armies!! Hopefully even record it!! Could be lots of fun!!!
Check it out its a pretty good battle and makes me want to play 40k!!! 6000 pts of Tyranids vs 6000 pts of Imperial Guard/Ultramarines and the Red Scorpions and a Warhound Titan!!! Awesome game and has even got the guys I play Warhammer pumped to play big games like this!!

BATMAN NEWS
Batman is soon upon us Batman fans!!! Justice League is not far away!! I have bought a Batman t-shirt especially for Justice league and I wanted a simple Batman t-shirt to make people aware that Im a Batman fan and an UBER NERD!! T-shirt fits and looks awesome!! Grey with the Batfleck symbol!! Love it!!
My girlfriend even forgot she was coming with me to see Justice League!!Shocking! Bat Shirt at the ready for Monday 20/11/17!!
Ben Affleck/ Batfleck was involved in an interview and asked about his contract with DC to which he said he was only contracted for 3-4 movies - BvS, Suicide Squad, Justice League and potentially The Batman! I like Batfleck as The Batman and would love to see him continue the role but I'd like to see a return to the dark troubled Batman we saw in BvS, its what suits Batman!!!
Hes a noir, dark and troubled character!!
Latest rumors as we knowMatt Reeves is officially directing The Batman and rumours are he may choose to change Batman and replace him with supposedly....Jake Gyllenhall.....who knows I personally want Batfleck to sort his future out and play the same batman we saw in BvS, we havent fully seen his Batman properly and I think Batfleck brings a lot more to the role than I'll even say what Christian Bale brought (I reckon he brings more character)!!! Hope Matt Reeves does a return to the Dark troubled Batman for his movie The Batman!! Let him be a little lighter and funnier in Justice League movies! Its a team-up movie!!

Also I was shocked to hear Danny Elfman has brought the original Batman theme tune from Batman 1989 and Batman Returns 1992!! I love that theme tune and find im either humming that or batman the animated series or star wars theme tunes when im working or doing stuff!!! So excited and glad that he has decided to add it as for a lot of people that music is Batman personified!! Also found out this theme tune also was carried over in a similar way to the Batman: The Animated series, which I found out was done by Mr Danny Elfman again!!! I've heard rumours the Christopher Reeve original Superman theme makes an appearance!! Legendary!!
Started watching the older Batman movies and the recent Batman vs Superman ready in anticipation!! Its out Friday 17/11 and Im going to go see it Monday 20/11/17 with Claire...Expect a review!!!
Went to the cinema with my girlfriend on Monday 20/11/17 - got the times wrong as Movie showed up (We think??) online 5:30 pm it was actually 5:10pm!! as We had just over 45 mins to go we went for a quick meal at 5 guys Burgers and fries!! Amazing bacon cheeseburger and chips with an oddly lovely Peach Fanta and Dr pepper zero!! Claire had a hotdog!! Not bad!!
Getting to the movie this is a small NO SPOILER review of Justice League! I will do a full review in a separate blog and will have Spoilers at the bottom (with suitable warnings) for those who cannot read!!
So Marvel have their own universe and now finally the DC Universe is now in motion! Justice League dropped 17/11/2017 and unfortunately has only taken under £100 million in its first weekend! The critics are too critical and I am not worried about the money taken! I actually enjoyed the movie and it has plenty of easter eggs and nods to the universe they are trying to create!
This is a good action adventure movie cut down to 2 hours so some of the plot feels rushed. The characters are funny and work well! Love the Flash/Cyborg mix! I'd recommend don't listen to the critics, go see the movie as it is a good popcorn action movie and shows these individuals become a team within the movie!
Good to see Superman in a good light too, think the reviews have made them review his character!
Every superhero movie seems to have a villain character which feels a bit unfinished or lacking hopefully villains will develop as more movies are released. I think at this moment where Marvel movies have evolved since 2008 - DC only started in 2013 and are still trying to find their level!
Critics are very critical and are easy to compare Marvel Movies to the DC movies! There are comparisons but what DC and Warner Bros. need to do is purely focus on their heroes and what they embody!
If you go see it hang around for the 2 credit scenes! 1 mid credit and 1 at the end of the movie!
I may be being too nice but Justice League gets a 4/5 from DLLorenzo! its a light, funny action movie and introduces the world to its new Justice league team!

Then after Justice League, the next BIG movie for me is Star Wars!! Guess whose watching all of the Star Wars movies again during December!!!! This guy and his long suffering girlfriend!!!
Might even get to watch it with friends in Cardiff at the Special Imax Odeon in the Gallery!! Christmas Treat!!Just before my Birthday!!
DESTINY UPDATE
We ventured past the first challenge of the chalices and managed to complete the Baths, we were given a key and several raid credits to use at a shop in the Tower, we did not progress further as it was late so we decided to call it a night. So I now understand the rules for 2 of the challenges, bring on the next ones!! Doggos then Emperor Calus!!!
Doggos challenge is good just got to play it more to get it done!!
Hopefully get more Raid runs now over the next few months! The more we do the better we will get at it and faster! The raid looks amazing and is huge as you dont just have the main ship to contend with! You also have the inner workings of this massive ship!!
Also on a side note Bungie revealed that the first DLC titled "The Curse Of Osiris" will drop 5th of December! Dropped a trailer which gave us a brief idea of what we may handle.....Future Vex and Past Vex was wondering when we would get a Vex based DLC....finally!!
Same bloody day as Spacehulk Deathwing!! £30 and I think it will be awesome for me and the few who are buying it and its being delivered on the day by Amazon! My DLC of the curse of Osiris is already paid for, as it comes with the Limited Edition I bought back in September. Even better news I have a half day on the 5th so I can play both games early and then I am off for the rest of the week!! I will be Guardianning it up and also purging Xenos for the Emperor!!!
DISASTER 14/11/2017 I check my emails and see an order saying an Amazon order has been delayed....It was the one I was dreading.... absolutely typical SpaceHulk Deathwing delayed till March next year.....not happy!! Knew it could happen but still gutted! Here's one Space Marine fan who cannot wait to try this game on console looking forward to using the assault cannon and the new heavy flamer!! Hope even more content will be released on console aswell!!!
Since the start of November our interactions on Destiny 2 have more or less dissapeared which is a shame and everyone is playing different games at the moment! Here's hoping we all jump back online when the DLC drops!

Movies/Tv shows I have watched:
Valley Cops (BBC Iplayer): Brilliant, gritty and realistic look of policing in Merthyr Tydfil. Following police officers in the Merythr Tydfil area. 5/5 from DLLorenzo!! Its South Wales its brilliant, realistic and gritty Highly recommend it!
Britain's Dark Taboos (Netflix): An interesting series following murders and killings all over Britain, following dark stories in England, Scotland and Wales. 5 seasons of 8-12 episodes telling the gruesome stories of murder! 4/5 from DLLorenzo, love reading and watching stories of murder cases as they are intriguing to listen to and some of these stories are very interesting.
Josh: On (BBCIplayer: Josh is a relaxed sitcom type of tv show, following the awkward comedian Josh Widdecombe and his flatmates Owen (played by Welsh comedian Elis James) and Kate (Beattie Edmondson) and their daily awkward hilarous adventures! 5/5 from DLLorenzo Highly recommend, light easy viewing, funny akward situations and lots of laughs. Actually gutted we have caught up with the episodes as it is such a fun and easy series to binge!

Robin Hood - Men in tights (Netflix): A Robin Hood spoof done by Mel Brooks! Robin and his merry men...not gay, just merry fight to protect the peace of Rottingham forest and handle the evil sheriff of Rottingham and save the beautiful virgin maid marian! 2/5 from DLLorenzo, overly daft and stupid but slightly funny story, couldnt take it seriously.
Supernova (Netflix): A scifi movie, with a mysterious plot surrounding a crew travelling through deep space. 2/5 from DLLorenzo, poor and predictable. Actually fast forwarded to the more exciting bits.
Get Hard (Netflix): A Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart comedy movie, Will Ferrell plays a very successful business man, who gets chucked into prison, he needs to learn some life lessons from an experienced convict (Kevin Hart) who actually isnt as experienced as he says he is. 3/5 from DLLorenzo, I usually love Will Ferrell, just in this movie found him very whiny and the movie not that funny.
Major League (Netflix): A 1989 sports comedy starring a young Charlie Sheen and Wesley Snipes, A baseball team is on the down and the owner hatches a plan to move the team to a different state but her team has to lose all of their fans!! Simple! sack your staff and replace them with a motley team of amateurs and retiring stars! 3/5 from DLLorenzo, a stupidly funny baseball comedy with heart.
Deep Fried Masters (Netflix): An American cooking program around fried foods! Following the state fair as it travels across America, starring Butch Benavides "Famous for bringing fried delicacies such as deep fried candy bars and deep fried cactus to the state fair" Abel Gonzales, 5 time winner of the BIG Tex choice awards and famous for his deep fried butter and deep fried cola. Also hosted by Jim Stacy or better known as the Corn Dog King! Through 6 episodes they try to find the best fry masters in America! The contestants try and cook unique and wonderful deep fried food through 3 stages to be crowned the best fryer in their state! Really enjoyed the amazing food and some of the unique and wonderful ideas of deep fried fair food that is available in America and episodes were 25 minutes and funny! 4/5 from DLLorenzo
Lucha Mexico (Netflix): An interesting documentary following the careers of several Mexican wrestlers, showing their influence and how their careers have changed over the years because of the very popular, entertaining and high flying Mexican wrestling! Follows Shocker and John Strongman two big wrestlers in Mexican Wrestling! Very interesting seeing the documentary and found it enjoyable 4/5 from DLLorenzo highly recommend if you like the behind the scenes look at wrestling!
Bar Hunters (Netflix): Bar Hunters follows Tom Powers in 6 episodes where he helps people interested in starting their own bar and business. Tom finds out the concept and the brief of the bar then will venture to show the wannabe owners what they could buy and basically gives the owners the pros and cons of the location and the idea. Then its up to the owners, but we get shown an update 3-4 months later! 3/5 from DLLorenzo, not amazing but i loved the idea of the show and loved seeing the properties before and after when the changes had been made. Think the show would have been better if they had been there to witness the work behind the scenes.
Phase IV (Netflix): Desert ants suddenly form a collective intelligence and begin to wage war on the desert inhabitants. It is up to two scientists and a stray girl they rescue from the ants to destroy them. But the ants have other ideas. 2/5 from DLLorenzo, I wasn't impressed and found the concept and story dated and lacking, actually shocked to hear it was a cult movie.
The Rage: Carrie (Netflix): A horrible massacre strikes up after an outcast teenage girl is taunted by a group of high school jocks, all of them unaware of her cutthroat telekinetic powers. 2/5 from DLLorenzo, the story was not the best and to be honest the only bit I enjoyed was at the very end.
GAMING
Attack On Titan: Wings Of Freedom: Trying to complete and finish this game! Got 2 trophies left to finish its just now dealing with the grind and dealing with the missions that are left!!
Destiny 2: Only jumping on every now and again to complete my Warlock character and further upgrade my Titan and Hunter! Havent raided since the last time with the raid team and its got pretty silent on our DIX chat which is a shame! Here's to waiting for Curse Of Osiris out on the 5th of December - I have a half day and hope it is awesome!!
Arkham Knight: Trying to finish the game when I have the chance, currently rocking the Batfleck skin and Batfleck mobile which looks awesome in game!! Slowly working throught the riddles and challenges!!
Gutted about Spacehulk Deathwing being delayed but hope the developers have delayed it again as they want the game to be packed with content and to be an amazing game on console! Delayed till March 27th 2018 (Preordered on Amazon for £29.99) Keeping my fingers crossed it isnt delayed again!!!

Following the state fair as it travels across America, starring Butch Benavides "Famous for bringing fried delicacies such as deep fried candy bars and deep fried cactus to the state fair" Abel Gonzales, 5 time winner of the BIG Tex choice awards and famous for his deep fried butter and deep fried cola. Also hosted by Jim Stacy or better known as the Corn Dog King! Through 6 episodes they try to find the best fry masters in America! The contestants try and cook unique and wonderful deep fried food through 3 stages to be crowned the best fryer in their state! Really enjoyed the amazing food and some of the unique and wonderful ideas of deep fried fair food that is available in America and episodes were 25 minutes and funny! 4/5 from DLLorenzo
Lucha Mexico (Netflix): An interesting documentary following the careers of several Mexican wrestlers, showing their influence and how their careers have changed over the years because of the very popular, entertaining and high flying Mexican wrestling! Follows Shocker and John Strongman two big wrestlers in Mexican Wrestling! Very interesting seeing the documentary and found it enjoyable 4/5 from DLLorenzo highly recommend if you like the behind the scenes look at wrestling!
Bar Hunters (Netflix): Bar Hunters follows Tom Powers in 6 episodes where he helps people interested in starting their own bar and business. Tom finds out the concept and the brief of the bar then will venture to show the wannabe owners what they could buy and basically gives the owners the pros and cons of the location and the idea. Then its up to the owners, but we get shown an update 3-4 months later! 3/5 from DLLorenzo, not amazing but i loved the idea of the show and loved seeing the properties before and after when the changes had been made. Think the show would have been better if they had been there to witness the work behind the scenes.
Phase IV (Netflix): Desert ants suddenly form a collective intelligence and begin to wage war on the desert inhabitants. It is up to two scientists and a stray girl they rescue from the ants to destroy them. But the ants have other ideas. 2/5 from DLLorenzo, I wasn't impressed and found the concept and story dated and lacking, actually shocked to hear it was a cult movie.
The Rage: Carrie (Netflix): A horrible massacre strikes up after an outcast teenage girl is taunted by a group of high school jocks, all of them unaware of her cutthroat telekinetic powers. 2/5 from DLLorenzo, the story was not the best and to be honest the only bit I enjoyed was at the very end.
GAMING
Attack On Titan: Wings Of Freedom: Trying to complete and finish this game! Got 2 trophies left to finish its just now dealing with the grind and dealing with the missions that are left!!
Destiny 2: Only jumping on every now and again to complete my Warlock character and further upgrade my Titan and Hunter! Havent raided since the last time with the raid team and its got pretty silent on our DIX chat which is a shame! Here's to waiting for Curse Of Osiris out on the 5th of December - I have a half day and hope it is awesome!!
Arkham Knight: Trying to finish the game when I have the chance, currently rocking the Batfleck skin and Batfleck mobile which looks awesome in game!! Slowly working throught the riddles and challenges!!
Gutted about Spacehulk Deathwing being delayed but hope the developers have delayed it again as they want the game to be packed with content and to be an amazing game on console! Delayed till March 27th 2018 (Preordered on Amazon for £29.99) Keeping my fingers crossed it isnt delayed again!!!
