Merry Christmas bloggers! Here is the first edition of my new updated blogs and what a December we've had so far, following on from the launch of the new Ork codex and Orktober events, November was pretty quiet up until the latest reveal of new models and we're starting with a big christmas cracker for December!
New models, a new campaign, new lore and new stuff welcome to Warhammer 40k and the Vigilus Campaign!

  • New Primaris Marneus Calgar and Primaris Honor Guards!!
"Marneus Calgar is the original and perhaps most iconic Space Marine character, having been with us in one form or another since the very first edition – so it’s only fitting that this venerable hero is the first to be reborn as a Primaris Space Marine. This incredible new model combines the modern aesthetic of the Primaris Marines with the classic elements of the venerable character. "
Absolutely delighted there is a new Primaris Marneus Calgar and he looks awesome! The story is a little bit different as he now is actually a Primaris spacemarine as there is some sort of surgery original marines can go through to become a Primaris and he survived it and now continues to wear the famous gauntlets of Ultramar and a new Heracles Primaris spacemarine armor! Plus he is accompanied with 2 versions of honor guard, but these are called Vitrix guard that only appear as a special Ultramarine only army!

Primaris Marneus Calgar looks impressive and I can build a Space marine character that comes with an alternative to the head! He has a helmet for my only helmet army Yes! Cannot wait to get the rules and pick up Calgar, think it will be a purchase in the new year. OK so we now have the latest version of the one and only Ultramarine Marneus Calgar, I'm actually really excited for this as if our Warhammer trip had happened I was actually going to pick up the last version of Calgar prior to this release and the Honor guards, so Im actually really happy I waited now.




  • New Genestealer Cults models!
So with this new Vigilus campaign it seems the Space Wolves have been sent to clear out a Genestealer cult growing on Vigilus and a box set is soon to land regarding both armies! New models have been announce such as bikes, trucks, an Aberrant model and an Abominant?? Ill ask my battle brother Barry to give me the lowdown as he loves his Genestealers at the moment!! Genestealer Cult Codex is the next Codex coming out!

  • One Giant ASS Titan! The New Warbringer Nemesis Titan is here!
So for £1000 you can be the lucky owner of this huge Titan model recently announced and shown at the Warhammer World Event. Its a big Ass Titan model with smaller models inside! MENTAL! 

So we have the Warbringer Nemesis Titan

Yours for a cool £1000! Think my girlfriend, let alone my family would kill me if I spent that amount of money on a model, let alone warhammer models.....maybe if I win the lottery!

  • Chapter Approved 2018-2019 book
New rules and changes incoming - Rules for Ultramarine chapter master and all the armies will be documented. I will be picking up my own copy and will give a small review in the new year but GW and many others have started reviews online check youtube!




  • New 40k Vigilus Defiant Campaign book 
This new campaign book will include the relevant stories and set ups if you wanted to play the campaign games for Vigilus adding a new spin on the normal game and getting the players to follow the campaign.


  • New Battleforce box sets
So for the Christmas period we have a load of £100 new Battleforce box sets theres an Imperial Fists Battleforce, an Eldar boxset, Spacemarines inquisition set etc We also got a few battleboxes for Age of Sigmar as per the pic below damn tree men!


  • New Chaos demon models!
These look cool, GW needed to update the models for ages!

  • Possible new Primaris Starter pack on the horizon
Rumour has it there are more Primaris models on the horizon, more tanks, jet bikes, characters incoming etc the way forward is Primaris!!!


  • A new Warhammer animated TV series will drop on Warhammer TV next year that follows the Blood Angel space marines done by the team that brough us Helsreach!
This looks awesome and I am totally behind this and need to check out the Helsreach stuff!

BACK TO THE OFFICE?
So I am back painting up my Ultramarines and trying to complete the army, my first bit of work is to finish putting together the Spacemarine repulsor tank

So I've told myself I wont be buying any more models since the Replusor tank.......failed already this month as I have bought a few of the space marine heroes only £4.50 in Gamers Emporium, Swansea! But to be fair I havent bought anything Warhammer related in 4 months so thats good! OK with the latest reveal theres a few things added to my purchase wishlist for 2019!

  • Primaris Marneus Calgar and the 2 Vitrix Guards
  • Roboute Guilliman
  • Chapter Approved 2019 book
  • Might add 1 or 2 units to current army lineup
