One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 DLLorenzo Game Review
Bought this recently online on PSN store for reduced amount, quite a fun little game based off the Dynasty warriors game but the setting is the Onepiece Manga/Anime, which follows a group of pirates called the Strawhat pirates, famously because of their strawhat wearing Pirate Captain Monkey D Luffy!
One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since July 22, 1997. The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy,
a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally
eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates,
Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world's ultimate
treasure known as "One Piece" in order to become the next Pirate King.
So the game follows the majority of Dynasty Warrior Games, where you play an individual hero or villain character in a team and use your individual abilities and group abilities to attack other special hero or villain characters whilst also completing certain targets or events and capturing areas in the level.
The game follows the manga/anime loosely touching upon the major moments of the story, when the group first meets in the Grand Blue Arc, the first few boss characters in the story up to the change in story arcs and following up closely to the recent Dressrosa Arc.
The game features a wide range of hero and villain characters in total 37! Ranging From Monkey D Luffy, Marco, Ace to Whitebeard. All come with their own animations, quirks, individual powers, abilities and costumes!

So I actually really enjoyed playing this game, I used to enjoy playing Dynasty Warriors and also the successful Gundam Dynasty Warriors 1, 2 and 3! The animations are fun and especially enjoyed the quirks and animations that come with it. The characters are hilarious and all have their cool abilities
Think my favourite characters were definetly Monkey D Luffy and Marco!
DLLorenzo gives the game a 3/5, its an original game and so far no other game around like it and can be quite fun to play, can get a little repetitive with the missions as they are all so similar. I am trying to platinum the game and should have all the trophies in the next month!
Also recent news it was announced online that One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is coming to PS4, XBOX andPC in 2020! Actually excited for this, so far its only a cgi trailer and will be keeping an eye out for actual gameplay. Gear 4th and all the additional characters as long as gameplay is as fun if not better and the missions are more varied, I will be getting Pirate Warriors 4!
